About Your Career Storyteller

I help public servants tell their own stories

so they can find mission-driven work that lights them up.

I’m Diana, Your Career Storyteller.

I’ve always been captivated by stories. It’s what drew me into neuroscience – the unfolding narrative of scientific discovery and the mysteries of the human brain. After finishing my PhD and realizing a career in academia wasn’t the right fit, I found purpose as a science communicator at the National Institutes of Health, helping people of all ages see themselves in science careers and connect with the humans behind the lab coats.

Over time, I discovered that what I loved most was helping people make sense of their path, connecting their experience, values, and skills into a story that could move them forward.

My first career coaching client was my sister: talented, driven, and completely stuck. Underpaid, overworked, and undervalued, she couldn’t see a way out. But I could. Together we uncovered her strengths and reframed her experience. Within a month, she had a new role, a higher salary, and a title that reflected her worth.

I was hooked.

Since then, I’ve helped more than 300 federal employees and contractors navigate career transitions, especially in the wake of the 2025 RIFs that reshaped agencies and left many of us in limbo. I know what it’s like because I was there too – wondering what came next, and realizing I could use my skills in a new way.

As a coach and communicator, I help clients craft powerful resumes and cover letters, rebrand and relaunch on LinkedIn, and build their trust in their own strengths, skills, and values to find work that lights them up and continues their mission.

I tell all my clients…

“If you want to be confident in your story,

first you need to be competent in your story.”

If you're ready to build your confidence, reconnect with your purpose, and write your next chapter, I’m here to help.
